Keeping spirits high during Covid-19 
 

Along with many other small artisan businesses we are trying to think of ways to stay afloat during the economic fallout of the Covid-19 pandemic.
 
With market closures & event cancellations coming into effect almost overnight, we needed to think of something that we could offer the community that would help us to maintain a small income during this crisis for our home-based Artisan chocolate business.
 
While brainstorming some ideas, we came up with the idea of setting up a new online Artisan Chocolate Gift service with two major aims:
 
Firstly, a new service to thank healthcare & frontline workers. Customers can send a chocolate gift of their choice and personalised note to a frontline worker to thank them for everything they are doing for us during this pandemic. As part of our appreciation of the sacrifices of our frontline workers, and to keep spirits high during this pandemic, we will also chip in and match any purchases for healthcare and frontline workers. So, if you send a chocolate heart, or any other chocolate from their online shop, we will double the order and send one also.    A second new service, ‘surprise a friend’ has also been launched. With social distancing looking like it will stay in place for some months to come, this service allows customers to send a small artisan chocolate gift with a personalised note to a friend or loved one, to keep their spirits up and remind them that they are in your thoughts. 
 
It won’t save the world, but it will surely put a smile on some faces!  
 
We are pretty well known amongst the Adelaide market and event community, having provided our delicious artisan chocolate products to the community for over 10 years through local markets and events and also their online shop. 
 
We are hoping that this will help to keep us busy during the upcoming months and at the same time know that we are doing something to help keep spirits high in the community.
